What is NYSPA?

NYSPA is a member of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition (HM/HB). NYSPA supports their work and helps to promote it throughout New York State. NYSPA is one of 27 state organizations which comprise the State Forum of the National Perinatal Association (NPA).

The New York State Perinatal Association is associated with the following organizations:

What are some of NYSPA's current activities?

NYSPA actively promotes community awareness regarding perinatal issues thoughout New York State. NYSPA works to enhance the delivery of perinatal services through the provision of educational and coalition building opportunities. NYSPA develops position statements regarding proposed legislation, regulations and policies affecting maternal-child health in New York State.
