This region includes two Perinatal Networks - Nassau County Perinatal Services Network and Suffolk Perinatal Coalition. It is served by two perinatal regional Centers - Stony Brook University Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital. The Long Island Perinatal Forum is a collaboration of the two regional perinatal centers.
