Caribbean Women's Health Association, Inc. (CWHA) was founded in 1982 by Yvonne J. Graham and a group for Caribbean Women in the Health profession who shared a commitment to improve access to health related services for low income and indigent populations, and to assist immigrants in adjusting to their new host environment.
CWHA is dedicated to transforming lives, strengthening families, building bridges across culturally diverse communities, and opening doors to citizenship. CWHA operates five (5) Community Service Centers located throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

THE NYS REGIONAL PERINATAL FORUMS MISSION STATEMENT:
The Statewide and Regional Perinatal Forums will strive to improve pregnancy outcomes through collaborative efforts, by hospital and non-hospital representatives, to increase access to care, and to address other state and region-wide public health issues relating to maternal and infant health.
Each forum is lead by a steering committee comprised of representatives from the region's hospitals and community based organizations. The forums are chaired by a representative from the community's Regional Perinatal Center and CPPSN.
